The purpose for the course is for the Therapeutic Specialist to be equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to perform job specific tasks related to Red cell exchange/depletion via Apheresis in the field of blood transfusion.
This course will enable the nurse to function as a clinically focused, service orientated, independent registered professional nurse, who is able to render comprehensive care with stable and uncomplicated general health problems, as determined by the appropriate legislative framework. The qualifying learner will apply evidence-based research to enhance nursing practice.
